I had some BA components installed and the installer didn't want to put the tweeters in the stock location. He advised me that the woofer and the tweeter should be on the same plane for optimum sound. Obviously I was devastated as any other location meant cutting into my door at one place or another. I had only seen one person put the tweeter anywhere other than the stock location and I hadn't heard any scuttlebutt on the forum regarding the stock location being less than optimum.
Well he put the tweeters close to the woofer and he made it look as stock as possible. The sound is great, but then again it better be as it's too late to make any changes really but I'm not displeased at all, just curious as to you guys' thoughts, particularly you audio guys out there. -I had planned on having BigA do my install but he seemed busy with the 7 series and I was tired of seeing all the equipment sit in my living room.
