Sirius Receiver Part#?
What parts are needed to switch from XM to sirius? I've read that for most Nissans you just have to switch out the receivers...is it the same for the 370?

I have a Nissan OEM Sirius receiver that I will be retro fitting into the 370Z. From what I can tell, it should fit but some wires may have to be changed and the antenna plug modified to work. I've read, on other forums, that the XM antenna will work on the Sirius but not as well. I will provide a DIY once I start the project. |
What wires look like they might need to be changed?
I researched a bit and found that most other models, you could swap the receivers with no modification other then trimming off some plastic tabs on the antenna plug like you mentioned |
I do know this: the Infiniti's have Sirius. and I also know we have the same nav unit as the newer infiniti's. With that said, the sat radio parts should be plug and play with each other. this is an assumption of course.

Just curious, why dont you just buy the best of sirius with your subscription and keep your xm? Might be easier.

I already have a prepaid membership for Sirius
|
I'm also looking to do this as I have a lifetime Sirius plan.

Pandora about maybe 3 years if that much. I prefer to pay for sirius than worry about using a phone for my music and coming in threw an aux port.
