Hey guys,
I'm about to mount my fosgate sub into the sealed enclosure i got. The box came with no wires, gasket, plug, but it does have the terminal cup mounted. The entire box is carpeted. 1. What gauge wires should i use to connect the sub to the terminal cup? 2. Do i need to buy some plugs to connect the wires to the terminal cup? Banana plugs maybe? i know that you directly insert the wire into the subwoofer but to the terminal cup, it seems like i need some kind of a plug to connect it. 3. Do i need some sort of a rubber gasket or a seal to put between the sub and the box to ensure an air tight fit? I don't want a leaky setup. If so, where can i get one? FYI, the entire box is covered with carpet, even where the screws would go in to mount the sub. Thanks in advance guys. |
