Nismo tech radio replacement option
What are the options on replacing the head unit out with another one due to the AC controls that are connected to the unit … I’m having a issue with OEM unit volume turning it self wide open randomly even when I’m turning it down it shoots back up

Your volume knob may just be dirty. I think it just pulls off and you can try cleaning it. Wouldn't be the first time that happened.

So after cleaning behind the button with eletronic cleaner still having random issues with volume shooting up … is this something that is a running problem or is it worth it to just swap out the head unit with another OEM one.

I had the same issue with my Bose even after cleaning over and over.
Radensb's board works very well. I'm happy with it. Had it for about a year now. https://github.com/radensb/eZ_Navi-Delete Just updated the headunit with an ipad slider kit. 2 screens, all the new tech that isn't in the bose, i'm happy with it. Radensb's board been working fine for me for the last year. I've tried a few of those android stereos and they are all trash imo. Very buggy, takes too many steps to play music or get to what you want. I installed pioneer 9 inch screen and put a ipad slider kit where the navigation screen was located. |

Something I have thought about checking out is the NiftyCity either ‘module’ to bring Apple CarPlay to the existing head unit - but this way everything would be integrated. And then the other option from them is the full on Tesla Screen.
