Building everything from scratch
So i have a single 12 in my car and its not doing anything for me anymore. I spend a lot of money on this adapter and that adapter and for installation to make everything work with the bose headunit but i think its time for a change. What would i need to build a system from scratch, im talking about a touch screen headunit with nav and all the goodies. I also want to change the door speakers and the tweeters. I also want to put two 12's in the trunk with a custom fiberglass box that i will build. so can someone give me an idea of what i kind of speakers i need and also the subwoofers and what kind of amplifiers do i need.

Before you start throwing more subs at the problem. How many watts are you giving the sub and what sub is it? Also how big is the box you have now?
Also keep in mind that you might get more bass when you change from a stock bose head unit and converter to a aftermarket head unit. As you mentioned fiberglass you probably have a big budget. So for components look at Image dynamic XS, the polk SR series, both are great for sound quality and have smooth warm tweeters. If you want something that will be LOUD and have a bit more bright tweeters look at focal 165kf. Amps you can go as high as the sky for good amps. I would look at audison, image dynamics, alpine, zapco, and cadance.

Keep in mind also that you will probably want to run 0 gauge from the battery to the trunk and do the big 3 "1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis.". If you have dimming problems after putting that much power to speakers and subs than you are probably going to want to add a second battery and or a bigger alternator.

i know there are two in the door and two tweeters on the dash then there are two on the sides of the seats. so what sizes do those speakers need to be?

6.5 inch speakers in the doors and the tweeters are 1 inch make sure to run new speaker wire to both. Do not worry about the speakers behind the seats they are worthless weather you keep whats in there or install something new they are only 3.5 inch and in a small car you do not need rear speakers.

Yes buy why would you? Would be no reason to put rear speakers at all in that car.

No you almost got it. One set of tweeters that are included with the component set along with the woofers that are included for the doors. Your not going to get a single amp to power two subs and a set of speakers. Your going to need two amps. Look at alpine 1000 watt amp for the set of amps and a 2 channel alpine for the speakers.
I do have to ask why two subs?
