Problem getting my steering radio controls
 

Hi,

I have a 2018 touring Bose w/t nav coupe z. I installed a Pioneer avh 3400nex radio. The radio was installed and works perfectly.

I also bought a Axxess Aswc-1 kit for my steering controls.

I did all the connections as stated in the manual black, red, blue-gray and red-gray wires are all connected to the good pins/ground. I also did the bypass in the truck.

The axxess enters in auto programming mode when I turn the ignition ON. The module detects the good wires (4th and 6th green led are long and stops at the 6th red (pioneer radio). But at the end, it does not recognize my car and continue to flash.

I can enter in manual pRPgramming by holding the reset button for about 7 sec. But I cannot get the vol up programmed.

Do you have any idea? I’ve searched every where, including this forum, tried every thing mentioned, even removed my steering air bag to make sure the connection was good for the steering wheel.

Don't give up. I have the same unit with an older Pioneer headunit in my 2009 and everything works. My installer moved away so I can't really tell you anything else other than I know it is possible to have it all working. Hang in there.
