Is the Navigation system able to be upgraded with European Maps?

I am wondering if the Mapping can be changed as this would have a big affect on my purchase since I am stationed in germany. So I am wondering anyone

I am wondering if the Mapping can be changed as this would have a big affect on my purchase since I am stationed in germany. So I am wondering anyone knows how the GPS is updated. Is it using the Garmin system?
