Can Bose subwoofer connect direct to the Head unit?

Hi Guys, i am from Thailand i just got 2010 370z Nismo and i have a couple questions about the audio, i have been searching the Threads but could not found the answer so i post this topic to ask,

My 370Z is come with Navigation Head unit but it not equipped with Bose sound system ( no bose speaker, no bose subwoofer) but i found 3 wires are there (1 for sub and 2 for amp) in the trunk so i bought 2nd hand bose subwoofer and Bose amp and simply plug them with those 3 wires but the result is no any sound come out from the subwoofer. I give up and dont want to check how is the wiring are because it might be difficult to me so i return the Amp to seller but for sub i could not return and it quite difficult to sellout.

here is my question “is it possible and any simply way to connect Bose subwoofer direct to The head unit? If it can, could you guys advise me how to?

Thank in advance!!!!

No for many reasons. The first is the ohms rating of the subs, second is frequency crossover a head unit can't produce an amplified signal crossed over to that frequency range. Third is it wouldn't even be worth it to add the bose sub with a external aftermarket amp but that can be done.
