How much do you charge for labor? like the kenwood that you installed for ak370z ?

Would probably be an easy upgrade chances are they are using the same wiring harness as the older models used but than again sometimes they change them.

My local Kenwood dealer will match Wicked C.A.S. special prices for me too. Nazar took too long in getting back to me last year. :P (Not to say that Wicked CAS isn't a great dealer. I highly recommend them. We should get him over here.)

will you be able to cahnge the backgrounds and such like the old model... and will the unit support blackberrys... i hate how everything is always about the Ipod...

Well the ipod is the best way to have music. I doubt it will have support for the BB unless it is threw BT audio.

This makes me wish I waited for this one instead of getting my 9140 haha. But then again, technology always improves every year.

Wicked CAS, you should consider becoming a sponsor on here and offering sales and group buys. :tup:

I have a crazy question. Can the maps on the Kenwoods be changed out for Western Europe? I may get an assignment in Italy or Germany and don't want to be stuck with North America in my NAV. That will determine whether or not I go for a Double Din NAV/Receiver. Thanks.

It doesn't look like it based on the Garmin site, but your best bet would be to contact Kenwood. I wouldn't contact Garmin because they aren't very good at giving answers that aren't right out of the manual.

Man, I barely had my DDX-814 close to a year and they already plan to release the DDX-896. So fast!!! It'll be nice to hack it up and improve the user interface.

For those of you who haven't checked up lately on this unit, I'd suggest that you do. I'm getting ready to order one from Nazar (great guy to deal with BTW (it's me Nazar aka TreeFiddyZee :hello:)).
This thing is fully voice-controlled as well as all of the other bells-and-whistles.
For WICKED_GRIN, the unit has 6 pre-outs also.
From the manuals that I have looked at, I'm pretty sure that it uses the same harness as the older units. I currently have a DNX8120 and the diagrams look the same. Won't be 100% sure until I get it in hand, but it looks the same.
