Hey guys, took the car to my installer and he said the harness connectors don't match up. He's unwilling to plug the wires into compatible US harnesses. So, if anyone is interested in doing this themselves, PM me. Otherwise, I'll be posting this system and translated files on eBay in the next week or two, for less than retail price.

Although I will be taking a hit on this "experiment", I do prefer factory parts, and was willing to take the risk. At the very least, one question some forum members have been asking for the past year has been answered.

I think my next choice will be the Viper system with iPhone remote start. Anyone know the cheapest site for ordering the necessary parts?

The price you would pay to have it installed if you buy it yourself will probably be higher than if you got a good shop to do it.

Remote Start w/ CAN Bus and the iPhone Module... The install will probably cost about 350$ or more.

If Nissan isn't going to cover it for faults, I rather just go after-birth with a viper 5904 and a smart-start module.

even installed in manual mode with nothing bypassed and all safeties... I still will not install a remote start in a manual car.
