Scosche NN04B or Metra 70-7552, you'll also need an antenna adapter, Metra 40NI12

For the base model yest that has been out for a while. Both scosche and metra make a wiring harness for the z. I recommend going with the scosche as the metra I have heard that not all the wires are there that are needed. Also you will need the antenna adapter as well as mentioned above get that as well from scosche.

lots of times metra will slack on the illumination/dimmer wires where you may only end up with one, the other, or neither. i haven't done any research on this specific harness, but it's been somewhat common for a long time. either brand will work just fine, but i find it quite annoying when a stereo supports dimming but all you have to hook up to it is an illumination wire. no adjustable brightness, just day mode and night mode.

OP: props for not being a tard and lopping off the plug as most people do

Yes props for not cutting that harness off! +1 vipor

The scosche one I got didn't have wires for SWI. It did have wires for rear speakers that are available to rob if you want to have SWI.

the steering wheel interface is a different set of wires all together. typically a separate plug. plus you can't merely wire them in to the 1/8" jack on the rear of most aftermarket units. it requires an actual interface

Yea, you need a separate interface but the wires from the steering wheel buttons are in the same plug that goes into the factory radio. My point being that if you don't want to cut into the factory harness you'll need to add the 3 wires to the scosche harness and it's easy to rob the rear speaker wires since they are not used in the base Z. So factory plug to scosche harness (same as all the other radio wires) to SWI module to aftermarket radio SWI plug.
