Subwoofer: Wicked CAS Corner Enclosure vs Dual 8" Enclosure
 

After 10 years of ownership I've finally decided to upgrade my '09 370z's sound system. I'm going through a local shop that did great a great job on my old 4Runner last year. I had originally wanted to get the Wicked CAS corner enclosure, but the shop tech convinced me to let them build me a custom dual 8" enclosure that would look like this.

I like bass, but I'm not sure the dual 8" subs are going to be worth the loss of storage space. FWIW, I'm very happy with my 4Runner's single 10" sub in the back.

Does anyone have the Wicked CAS or some other single 10" sub setup? How is it? What sub did you put in?

Any other opinions on my situation?

There's a new kid on the block which a few of us have ordered, verdict is still out but seems like a good choice. Hoping to install mine tomorrow.

It's a tiny cabin, doesn't take a lot. If you like a single 10" in an SUV, the same in a third the space would be just as nice. Dual 8"s don't seem worth it to me either.

That Vega looks nice, but I'd lose the spare tire, right?

nope, it sits in/on top of it.

No, it fits inside of it (assuming you have the sport alloy spare, not sure about the steel donut).
