Cell Phone Mount DIY (Kinda)
 

I bought my first 370Z a few months ago, but I was always frustrated that no one sold a decent cell phone mount. After several months of searching, I finally found a solution. I bought 3 parts from CravenSpeed (Belmont Base $22.50, Tibia extension arm $19.95, and the Magnet Base / ball end $25). This wasn't a cheap solution, but I'd rather spend $70 on something I like instead of a ProClip mount which costs just as much. Anyway, I ground the Belmont base to create a curved bottom so that it would fit in the valley of the right hand speedo cluster cap. I drilled the mounting holes in the cluster cap, and put it all together, and I finally had the perfect cell phone mount! I am super happy with the result and wanted to share it with all of you in case you were at a loss like I was. Also, if you are worried about damaging your speedo, there is plenty of clearance for the screw heads inside the cluster cap and if you end up removing it, a replacement cluster cap is $20.

Weather Tech (the floormat people) are now making the "fonecup" which is a nice adjustable phone holder that sits in your cup holder...

Works pretty well.. $40 though
