Default Dumb question...

Long story short, I forgot my big binder of manuals at the dealership and I won't be able to pick it up until sometime next week.

Basically I'm wondering where the ipod connection is on the car. In addition, is it a ipod specific cable or just a standard AUX connection because I can't seem to find either of em. My glove compartment had a cable somewhat resembling a ipod cable.

I've done both a forum/google search and couldn't find an answer.

It's a specific iPod cable. Look in the center console. It will likely be under the first drawer. The connection is up against the front wall of the compartment. There's a little "cargo net" (I believe) that holds the cable that you use. The connection port is covered by a flip down door. (Well, it is in the Maxima, I'm sure it's the same though in the Z)

Not a dumb question at all.

Yep! Molamann, look at the owner's manual, page 167. Also 169 shows how to connect the iPod.
