Apple CarPlay Systems
 

I'm looking to upgrade my Bose Non-Navigation system to an aftermarket with Apple CarPlay. Does anybody have experience with these two units:

From what I've seen sony give you a lot more for the money, however I'm an android guy so I wouldn't know anything about the offerings of these for apple play. I know appradio use to SUCK big ones 4 years ago.

I'm not sure what the advantage is and I know there is one but forgot, I have friends that have them and don't know why they paid more for theirs. I can do everything on my Pioneer system that I can do with my I-phone. I know whatever the reason was it just didn't seem reasonable to pay an additional $300 for, sunk it all into Alpine speakers and it was well well worth it.

Do you mean advantage between the Sony and Pioneer? They both have CarPlay. The Pioneer is $350 and the Sony is $400.

no, the advantage of Apple play over not having Apple play.

Oh. I find CarPlay to be much easier to use with bigger touchscreen buttons, clean layout. The head units with CarPlay have come down significantly in price, so for $350 I wouldn't buy one without it!
