Aux port not working?
I’m kinda confused as to what could’ve happened but I took a drive yesterday to the store, came back and tried to play music through the aux and nothing was being picked it up. I have an iPhone X so I have to use the adaptor (because no headphone jack) for lighting cable to a 3.5mm aux jack. Music just plays through the phone. Is there a fuse I may have blown? All other functions of the stock Bose head unit work normally. I’ve tested all variables that the cable, the adaptor and my phone aren’t the cause of the issue. Any input before I go mad from no music and end up upgrading my entire Bose system:hello:

Ill state the obvious, but did you forget to set the source to AUX?

I'd just take the opportunity as an excuse to upgrade the Blows system :twocents:

I’ve been meaning to upgrade! Just don’t know jack about wiring, and I like working on my own car so this is gonna be a struggle for me. Haven’t searched yet but I wonder if anyone’s done a full bose upgrade diy :roflpuke2:

Just curious, but why are you using the AUX, and not the USB port? Might make a difference.
Edit - I should pay more attention.... I assume they didn't have a USB port on the 09's. Gotta upgrade! |

If the AUX port is a phono jack, I've seen the contacts get dirty and/or bent. |
