ipod connectivity for Austraian 370z
Hi guys,
recently received delivery of my 370z, the car is a Australian variant. From factory there is no ipod connectivity, only an auxiliary input. I can connect my ipod and listen to music and watch movies (through the aux input), but I cannot interface the ipod with the z's audio/nav system. I can only control the songs/movies etc from the ipod itself... this is crap, I would like to control the ipod through the steering control and/or nav system. Is there any way I can interface my ipod with the australian z's audio/nav system? What if I was to purchase a USA audio/nav system and install it in my car, will that work? Any help will be most appreciated. |
Hey, nah I don't think these will work because we don't have the Satellite radio option on our units....
They should, the second one even says in the title for use with or without sat.
Yeah but doesn't that mean satellite navigation? I think you need to have the option of satellite radio for these to work... unfortunately Australia is backwards with radio... no satellite radio here :( we like our radio analogue :P
You DO NOT need the sat radio or sat nav for them to work.
Interesting, well that might be pretty good then lol I thought you needed to have the sat radio option on the head unit for it to work... I wanna try it now too lol

Just wanted to find out if anyone has installed these in an Oz 370Z and had them work?
