Default Finally Installed my Subs and Amp

First of all I'd like to thank bigaudiofanat for his help! I had a few questions and he helped lead me in the way of getting the re-q etc which ended up saving my a$$ on my setup.

Took me a few months to actually get around to doing it all (work, lazy) but it went smoothly and it sounds much better than the setup I had in my 350z ... Btw the only problem is I can't get the zenclosures box in Australia so I'm using my 350z under strut box which looks weird.

I just used the sub wires and trigger from the bose plug which goes to the stock subs on the spare wheel and ran them through the re-q to my amp (behind the passenger seat) and finally the subs. Definately an improvement (all I wanted was more bass with the stock nav/bose system) I recommend this if you have the Nav and want more bass. I can now help out anyone who also wants to do this

I'll post pictures once I tidy it up and hide the wires.

Does the RE Q just allow more bass to come thru or does it do more than that?

It just allows bass for the actual speaker outputs you will need the JL clean sweep.

Glad everything worked out evse82!

Hey it basically just equalises the bass level from the signal coming from the Bose head unit so when you put up the volume the bass doesn't drop off like it does in stock form... It has input for left and right speakers too though. From what I've read the clean sweep is what you'd need for a proper speaker/sub setup.

I just wanted the extra bass so I went with the re-q, I know the speakers aren't as good as aftermarket, or what I had in my older ford, but I totally can't be bothered ripping everything apart anymore so using my ratio of quality vs lazyness... I'm happy hahaha
