Default JL sub/box Alpine PDX Pioneer pricing

I need help pricing some stereo stuff out of my 370Z. I just sold the car and to get the price down where the buyer wanted, I pulled the aftermarket stuff. I have a JL 8W6 8" subwoofer in a correct size spare tire-fitting box, an Alpine PDX 4.100 amp with rear mounting plate, and Pioneer component speakers-TS-C520PRS. Awesome sound. I have the 4 awg power cable, fuse, misc wirings. I'd like to sell as a package. I even have the spare-tire cover with the cutout for the sub. What would be a fair package price?

How much did you pay? I would start there minus 25%. A lot of people have mentioned looking for boxes like that on this forum so maybe you will sell it quick.

Good luck

Did you make the sub enclosure yourself? I might be interested in that. The amp in the picture looks like Alpine, but your write up says Pioneer.

That sub box that fits inside the spare is EXACTLY what I want....... can't understand why one of the aftermarket manufacturers hasn't started making these yet.......... keeps the spare and is stealth

And probably 20 lbs lighter then my set up if not more. Almost feel like buying it just to make a kit from the measurements.

If I only had more time and more $$

I think a 10 would be perfect. Shop talked me into a 12, gives a real nice bass tone but almost overwhelming at times. I have the bass set at -2 and my windows still vibrate...Funny.

And I wonder why I can't hear anything

Sorry, it is an Alpine amp. I made the sub enclosure using a plastic form and epoxy fiberglass so it wouldn't smell. The enclosure size is just what JL recommends for that amp, I believe is .7 or .8 cubic feet. The deep 8" works great.

I listen to mostly rock, classic rock, and blues, some contempory jazz. I don't need that "subterranean" bass, LOL. I like a 10" that is musical ....... most seem to be a little tighter and more musical than the 12"s, although I am sure there are some great 12"s that fit that description.

I thought so, I remember reading your initial thread months back when you made this thing. If you would sell the enclosure and Alpine amp separate, pm me with a price. Thanks.

Aftermarket guys are more interested in cars with higher sales numbers! No money in a few Z owners who might want it.........
