Default Replacement nav system question

Hi everybody. I had an original 350z back in 2004, and got into the 370 last year. I was hoping someone could help me out though....I had found a thread somewhere about replacing the nav with an android head unit some place but I've since lost it. Can someone point me at it if this is the right site?

IIRC, the upshot of that thread was that nav and HVAC are too tightly integrated to make any mods.

This site's search sucks, IMNSHO. You can go to any of the major search engines and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string to limit results to this site. Eg, https://duckduckgo.com/?q=nav+replac...%3Athe370z.com

I think I read that you could do it with some 3d printed parts and whatnot. I've done some unique mods and I have a 3d printer so I figured I would give this a shot.

Im sure somone did, you can buy a replacement android head unit, if you want tablet integration that is something else, but replacement head units usually come with a harness you can plug in so there is nothing you need to mod.

I was thinking where the GPS screen goes. I remember having a unit from some Chinese company the fit perfectly into my altima.
