Has anyone installed the OEM backup camera & homelink mirror kit?
 

If anyone has already done this, I was wondering if you could give me the details on the install.

Does the kit come with good instructions? Are you able to use the stock harness in either location, or do you have to run all the wires yourself?

I have a base 2017 and installed just the mirror in it. My car did not have a wire harness for the mirror from the factory so I had to buy one and run the cables myself. I looked into buying the kit and even downloaded the installation instructions but I decided to replace the factory stereo and run my own camera.

I went with one of the cheap cameras that replaces the license plate light in the back. Simple to install and works pretty well. I had one on my last Z and it worked pretty well.

I have installed this oem kit, excellent step by step instructions are included.

With my 16 Sport I had to run all the wires and tap into power. All items to do this are in the kit.
