Double din bracket question
Hi, I'm currently purchasing all the components needed to install my new double din AVH 4200NEX. Everything is stock at the moment and I got everything needed on the way but have one question about the brackets.
When I open it up and install the new double din, Can I use what I have already (old bracket) or do i have to buy a new one like the one in the link below? https://www.amazon.com/Metra-99-7607...70z+double+din If I indeed have to buy a new bracket, why is that? They look the same to me. Is it different inside? Or what is the difference? Thanks. |

I just finished installing a jvc kwm730bt head unit. I did not need any adapter brackets. Did take more than a few trial installs to get it adjusted correctly , but when done its perfect fit.
Of coarse your head unit could be different, but I would try stock brackets first. |
