Any way to override the ignition turning off during a tune??

I did a search without finding out,so please don't crap on me,just looking to see if there is a way to keep your ignition on for an extended period of time so it doesn't shut down in the middle of a tune. Not feeling optimistic on this one.

Mind elaborating a little more? You just have the car's ignition on (not running?)

Yes,motor not actually running.Just to be clear, this is the Audio/Video section, not referring to a ECU tune, but an audio tune like with a DSP.

Understood. I've never had a problem with it shutting itself off. Is it after listening to it for a certain period of time?

Yea,there seems to be some kind of timed shut-off(15 min?)Quite annoying when u are getting into things.

I'd try cycling one of the door switches, turn the wipers on/off, press clutch, &c (anything so the car knows it's in use) every 10 minutes or so. If that doesn't work, the FSM may have more info.

Good suggestion, will give that a try.

I can listen to my radio for an hour at lunch if I want to and it never shuts itself off. This is with the switch in the "Accessory" position and all doors closed. Maybe your battery is a little weak and the car is going into self-preservation mode.

Let us know if you come across anything...

In accessory position, with my power supply hooked up, it stays on for hours and hours....
I have also done extended listening/tuning without the power supply...
