Has the Valentine 1 overcome these new "collision avoidance " sensors on the newer cars?

That sounds like a question you should ask over @ Valentine.

Does your V-1 have the "Junk Fighter"? How would you rate the J-Fighter.? I understand, it blocks out the K-bands.

i had my two v1 updated last year. both have minimal false alarms from those idiot radars now.

That depends on how you want to use it. I recently got the blue-tooth module and it works great w/ my IPhone...as does the V1 app.

They also make modules if you want to hide the main unit, etc.

I just talked to Valentine yesterday and , yes, they claim Junk Fighter solves most of the problems. Glad to hear that those who have an upgraded V-1 agree. Mine is going in the mail this week...the false alarms are taking the fun out of life! (Well, actually, they are not false alarms , just radar that I don't care about) :)
