Default Amplifier mounting locations?

Hey guys I already put an amp under my strut bar, I can't put another one there as the dimensions are somewhere around 10x10x2

Spare tire area isn't a location. Took my spare tire out and foam inserts and made a box that's 2cu ft for a ported 10"

Where am I supposed to mount a second amp?

Thanks.

Don't bag on me for hifonics. I've had many amps. Rockford, pricey M series Alpine, kenwood, kicker. As far as issues and heat I've had the least amount with hifonics so I stick to them for amplifiers.

Depending on the size, I have my Polk amp mounted behind my front seat

if it really is only 2" tall, you might be able to put it under the pass seat.

Update: as I'm not going to drill anything behind the driver or passenger seat due to that's where the fuel tank location is. It's really the only place I can mount it. It's 14" long by 11" height and 2" depth. It will not fit under the seats. Too long and too tall. I can put it behind the passenger seat. My solution here is to use industrial Velcro stickied onto the back of the amp and the Velcro to the carpet. Tbh it works really quite well and I suppose it's easily accessible.

The seat will go back all the way excluding the last final notch, I think this is fine as I rarely have passengers and if I do, they aren't 6' tall.

So my solution to the behemoth amplifier is behind the passenger seat with Velcro!

Should work fine... I did the same with some amps on my del sol when I was in college... However, my passenger would occasionally move the seat back against the amp without my noticing and after a while it would shut down in thermal protection.

edit: If you wanted to avoid this occasional annoying occurrence, you could add some little stops or something to keep the seat from moving all the way back.

Great point. I'll stick the amp to a very thin 1/8 board, just thick enough to where it won't bend. So it can still breathe even if crushed back

Another idea - will the amp you currently have mounted in front of the rear struts fit under the pass seat? And if so, would that free up enough space in that location to put the bigger amp there?

I vaguely remember measuring and I think there is more than 2" of height available under the pass seat.

I thought of this possibility as well believe me. The amp under the strut bar now is so tight pressed in there that there's no chance the larger amp will go there.

Yes it is a tad over 2" high under there. But in the middle since its sheet metal there's a lip that comes down about 1/4" and has to be bent to fit my amplifiers under there.

Thanks

My amp is massive, wouldn't fit under the seat, that was the first try. Fits behind it though and seat can't go back the last notch. But eh it is what it is. I don't have many passengers.
