Tablet Integration Poll

I've just updated the part to secure the tablet in place before placing it into the car's bezel.

I added a few screws, washers, and nuts to the top (these will be included in the kit as well)

The images in the first post are updated and the part fits great.

This will be the final result for "as printed" for both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8" and the Apple iPad Mini 4. I'll show options for it covered in alcantara later.

Will more than likely put this up for sale sometime in January after I verify the fit with the iPad Mini 4.

The new screw locations don't have an issue with the inside of the housing either!

Be sure you get the ok from AK370Z if you plan to sell or advertise the product on the forum. Generally, you have to be a paying vendor to sell a specific product on the forum. For the little guys with just a single product and low sales volume, he won't require full vendor status; expect to pay a small percentage or fee for each sale. If you don't hear back from AK within a couple of weeks, you can PM Trips (the most active moderator) for some help in contacting him.

So i had my 2013 Nexus 7 still around and I placed it into my face plate to see what mods would be required for those who want to use this. And there's an issue:

As you can see there will have to be heavy modifications needed to be made to make it work.

I'm thinking I'll create one for the 2013 Nexus 7 as well, but I probably won't keep stock on it and make it a custom order.

If anyone with a 2013 Nexus 7 wants one, let me know. I'm going to print it in the next few weeks to show a comparison.

here's how it looks with the metra kit for aftermarket radios!

I'm hoping to make the final changes to the ipad mini 4 version sometime next week.

Once I'm done with that, I'll reach out to the mods for an update.

Looks really nice!

As soon as someone solves the hands free bluetooth calling problem using a tablet paired to a phone, I will want to go full-time tablet and start talking you into designing a portrait style mount for a 10" tab that eliminates the stereo completely =)
