Can anyone identify what this wire could have possibly been used for?
 

The previous owner of my vehicle had speaker wire connected to something. I am thinking it was connected to an amplifier, but am unsure. Can anyone help me determine what it used to be connected to?

You can check if connected to something with an ohm meter and if it is you can start tracing to where it terminates. Either at the door or dash. If it is dead and you're not doing an install just cut it off. Not worth pulling old wire if it's dead and you're not going to do anything. I am also assuming your radio works just fine. It was a sucky removal though.

Previous owner just contacted me to let me know that there was a Kenwood Amplifier and JBL subwoofer, but it seems like the dealership removed it. I'll have to purchase those two again and install them.
