Speaker Install Checklist
So I wanted to swap the oem non bose speakers on a budget. I already bought the speakers and the spacer rings. When I removed the door panels, I noticed that I still needed a bracket and wiring adapter since I didn't want to cut wires should I decide to put it back to stock.
Can someone confirm if my checklist below is everything I need? Any tips for a noob is appreciated too. 1. Lanzar OPTI6PM 1 New Lanzar OPTI6PM Optipro 400WATTS 6 5'' High Power Coaxial Speaker Car Audio 068888899758 | eBay 2. 7/8 deep adapter for 6.5 speakers PVC Speaker Adapters - CNC Machined - In Stock or Custom Made (this should eliminate the need for spacer ring since this is a mount and spacer in one?) 3. wiring harness Metra 72-7401 Speaker Wiring Harnesses For select Nissan and Infiniti vehicles — connect new speakers to the factory wiring plugs at Crutchfield.com I read somewhere that I should weatherstrip to seal it good? Thank you. |
