The one guy who was actually successful at removing it is still trying to make everything work correctly. Chances are it will never work correctly unless you replace pretty much the whole harness and a lot of different parts from the car. If you have Navi from factory you are pretty much stuck with it unless you don't care about some thing not working properly.
