My little sub.

Was debating if I wanted to finish my system off with a sub,got a great deal on Craigslist on a driver and went ahead with it.I mostly listen to rock,so I don't need/want a loud boomy sub,so i went with the JL 8W3V3 8" driver in a small sealed enclosure.Should provide nice tight clean bass, got the driver new in a box for $60,wood and carpet for $30,done!!Now I am just waiting on an amp, designed it so it would fit under the cargo cover,so it won't be easily seen.

does that make the cargo cover flap at all? not sure how far away the cover is from the cone..

dvboy 02-16-2016 05:37 PM

I haven't hooked it up to an amp yet,it is just over a couple inches away from the cover,so it might do a little bit of a dance.

kenchan 02-16-2016 05:56 PM

oh, if couple of inches clearance, i am sure it is fine. i like the compact size.

Thanks,I didn't want it to overtake too much interrior space as well as be easy to remove.

Looks good, I currently have a Bazooka BTA10100 hooked up in the same spot, used 2 tarp straps to hold it into place, what are you using to keep it in place?

If u look on the bottom right side of the sub,I have a piece of metal that bends down where there is a fastener for what I assume is for an external seat belt?Anyway, whatever that is,I have a bolt torqued down in that location.
