Alpine has great sound quality, I had the 9845 in my 350z and liked it. should be a nice choice for you. Also here is a pic of my 12w6v2 JL in the Zenclosure box. |

Looks good man, as I said my choice would be image dynamics for speaker but that is my choice. Still will be nice.

I purchased the bulk pack you mentioned and it completely will fill your rear hatch and doors. If you wish to add more under your seats etc. you would need a bit more.
Awesome choice of sub in my opinion. If I was going to push a 1000 watts to the sub that would be the one I would buy. You can't go wrong with JL man. I was always a believer in rear speakers in most cars and had them in my 350Z. But with the 370 I took the advise of many who say they are not needed and hooked it up without them. Went with the Boston pro60 se's up front and I have to admit. They are right. My sub pounds out the low frequencies and together I am surrounded by acousticly balanced tunes. I love it, and I am glad I didn't waste another 300-400 on some coaxials behind. It truly sounds like they are there though...weird but I like it. Good luck, I look forward to seeing it. |

The glass will be fine from the bass, I have seen a lot more bass than a single sub put in cars with stock glass not breaking. The reason for the sub to aim back and not forward is because it allows the bass to reverberate off the back and than come at you. If you had it forward than it would reverberate off the front and go to the rear. You will get some vibration DEPENDING ON HOW YOU TUNE IT, you can set your gain to make the sub really hit or have it actually go along with the music. If you are worried about vibration I would say look for a smaller amp or make sure to turn your gain down.

I would do a set of 3-way splits in front. That will be my next upgrade once Nazar makes the door pods for the 370Z.
My suggestion would be a set of Focal Polykevlar or Polyglass 3-ways speakers. Running 200 watts per channel and you will have the most amazing audio experience of your life. 3-ways are much louder and much more detailed than comparable 2-way components. Installtion costs will be high but thier worth every penny! I have a set of the Polyglass 3-way splits in my Armada and they sound better than my $1100.00 Polykevlar 2-way's that I have in my Z. They flat out perform them in every way possible and I am running less than half the power to my 3-ways as I am in my Z. They are phenominal and the Focal midrange speaker is amazing. I am astounded how loud and clear that little 4" speaker will get! Here is how I sum it up: They are soo loud and clean they will liquify your ear drums and they sound so good doing it you won't even care! I will second the JL Audio 12W6v2. Its the best SQ subwoofer money can buy in my opinion.

But for the normal installer they will not know fiberglass and all to have a 3rd speaker installed in their doors.

Are you familiar with "Nazar" of Wicked C.A.S? He is pretty well known on the 350Z forums that this forum braqnched off of. They make really sweet stuff for the 350Z. My brother and I did a serious Focal SQ stereo install in my 2005 Anniversary Z. I especially lioked how the Yellow cones of the Focal Polykevlar speakers matched the Yellow car. I was trying to find a matching polykev Focal sub but Focal subwoofers were really hard to find then.
I am waiting to see what Nazar will come up with for the 370. The door pods he made are first rate and they make a huge difference! My sub enclosure for my Focal sub was one of the first boxes made by Zenclosures. He is planning on making them to hold 3-way splits.
