Default The Install Videos

Ok guys, I finished my audio install a couple weeks ago and have been sifting through hours of install video footage. I have been breaking them up into roughly 5 minute clips of "How To's"
Much of what is on there is info you guys have posted in various reports with pictures and some good reading. I have added a different take with some actual footage of the install.
Let me first say that I am not a profesional installer but I have learned and worked on many over the years and enjoy doing my own installs. Plus I HATE people working on my car.

These are the first 4 videos that I have completed so far. Check back often as I will edit this original post and add more videos as I finish them.

I would also like to thank BigAudiofanat for answering a couple questions I had and for getting back to me so quickly. Also thank Division and Jeff Smith for some help too.

I love the forum and hope you guys enjoy my videos.

I hope one of those video's details how to pull the door connector apart Aside from our posts, I don't think that has been properly documented yet.

Just a suggestion sliknik, maybe you should type up everything you installed.

Cool vids. I didn't like the idea of destroying the factory tweeters either in case i ever sold the car or whatever. I did the same thing pretty much but just used some 1/4" fiberboard instead of the plastic. My GPS antena I put right inside the trim piece with the pocket in it at the top and seems to work good there. I didn't like the idea of it sitting out on the dash. Your work is very thorough and clean, good job.

The tweeter if you do not want to destroy them like me and him both did. You can go to your local radio shack or model store and pickup a piece of black plastic than cut them out to size and cut a hole in them for the tweeter. Than keep your old tweeter and just put the new one in.

I was thinking about letting someone else do my install this time. Thanks for inspiring me to again do it myself.
