Android USB audio?
 

Hey guys I finally just got my 2015 Z and loving it. But wondering if we can play music from my android phone via the USB port in the centre compartment.

I have played music via Bluetooth but the signal keeps cutting out every second so it's not desirable to listen to music via Bluetooth.

I tried connecting my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus via USB but I keep getting a msg on the Z's screen saying check USB device or I pod settings. I tried switching between the different USB modes on my phone but still does not play the phones music via the Z speakers besides Bluetooth. Is there a way to do so via USB?

You will need a new stereo deck, the base stereo that comes with the Z is limited to what it plays, at least that's the problem I had. When I had the stock stereo I just used a small USB stick to play music, worked fine but IIRC I had to format it for FAT32 or it wouldn't work.

Damm that kind of sux. I dropped $50K AUD and I cannot play music via Android phone USB in 2015. Oh Wells the car is still Killah!!
