Is there a way

Is there a way to back up the hard-drive in the BoseNav stereo system to an external disk drive??. I don't want to have to copy all of my cd's again if there is a problem.

Thanks for any help.

Touche

I don't understand why more car makers don't offer a radio free option. I loved it when I bought a mustang GT in the 80's and I was able to get $250 off for getting the car without a radio. And it came prewired too!! All you had to do was buy the aftermarket unit, amp and speakers and install them, which since the connectors and wiring were all (mostly) preinstalled took about 15 minutes to do it, if you worked slowly. Ahh those were the days.

Well today they just want to sell you something that you do not need or will have to replace yes even the bose system in a lot of cases.

You guys have Bose all wrong - they are the model of compatibility and interoperability.
