Now that I think about it, the quality seems to of started going down around the same time they changed logos

They sucked circa 1970, 1980 and 1990 as well. They are the Panasonic of Car Audio. But Cnet likes them. Cnet is the ultimate reference for audiophiles everywhere <sarcasm>.

here is an easy example you might understand.......

Walmart & Costco sells Sony HDTV. They are at the bottom of Sony's HDTV product line. Its only for name recognition. You will never see the XBR or Z series at Costco or Walmart. People who shop at discount stores are looking for discounts.

Comparing Costco to Walmart is comparing Apples and Oranges. Costco is a membership-only club. And Costco is a high-end club. The demographic of Costco is a fairly wealthy demographic. Costco is known for carrying high-end items at discounted prices. To say that "You will never see the XBR or Z series at Costco" is absurd, since you have no idea at all what will be sold at Costco at any given time.

I need to correct you………..Costco only sells the bottom line of Sony HDTV. If you think Costco is a high end outlet……………then you must live somewhere in CT I’ve never been! You will Never see a XBR (Sony) series in Costco or Wal-Mart.

Not a spammer……………..I know a great product when I use them. I have owned Kenwood, Pioneer, Eclipse, Alpine, and Blaunkpaut. For the 2009 production HU’s…………AVIC-Z110BT is at the top.
