Appradio 3 question

I bought an Appradio 3 when I had a different smart phone. My old one had a HDMI out, my new one doesn't. I already tried a MHL with my new phone, it doesn't work.

How can I connect to the radio? My new phone is a Droid Turbo.

Droid Turbo does not support MHL. I have a Turbo as well and just use the Bluetooth, kinda sucks I know.
