I got clearance to build my system...started ordering my gear. It's like Christmas in July, only in June.

I ordered a Kenwood headunit, the mid/tweet components to complete my CDT 6.5's I already have, a Precision Power 5 channel amp, 10" sub and all the necessary wires and such to bring it to life.

Nice, I just installed Lanzar 6.5" in the doors, a Pioneer AVH-X4700BS, and two amps. One amp goes to a 10" pioneer sealed sub. And the other amp goes to the new 6.5" speakers. I have an active crossover for the amps as well. It sounds dope! I am sure yours will sound amazing!

Got me some fiberglass, 400 grit and stainless steel rod today. ;)

My brother had bought a set of CDT drivers. They look really nice. Too bad they did not fit in his car so he sold them. They look like Kck azz drivers.

I've got two 12's that have been sitting in the garage for 8 months. Had a custom fiberglass box in my G35 when I had it. I keep saying I'm going to do a custom fiberglass enclosure, but you know, stuff happens...school...work...beer...Netflix. Looking forward to seeing your finished product though.

The inside ring was just a hair less than a quarter inch too tall to give me the inch and a half between it and the top of the foam. After a little router action, we have perfection.

Looks good, I like the spare enclosures, especially when you can keep it. Look forward to seeing it completed.

Lol. I hear ya. But in my defense, I have two kids, we were finishing up summer vacation, school just started, we're moving into a new house and it's hotter than hell out here. But I am happy to report that I am working on it today.

Man, you are routing in multi days. That MDF flies everywhere as you plunge and rout it. I would of done it all in one day just to not have to clean it multiple times.

I take it "Slow and Steady" in one of your motto. Good job buddy. Interested in the final run.
