I'm wiring like a fool as we speak.

We have sound!
Now the months of tweaking can commence, but that's the relaxing part. ![]() The amp has its home. I even found a convenient spot for the bass level knob, which I don't really want anyway. ![]() I used a hole saw to cut a couple holes in the foam to pass the wires though. I glued in some copper pipes to trim it out, make it look better than just holes. ![]() I'm happy with the sound. Still a bunch of tweaking to do, but I'm calling it a success. That sub is droppin' LOW! My chief audio engineer evaluated the system and gave me his approval. ![]()

using test tones to set all frequencies equal before even touching the amp takes a while by itself.

Relaxing for the most part.....I can't even count the hours and hours spent sitting in cars in the garage tweaking. In the 4 years I've had the Z, considering speaker changes, amp changes, ect... I would say 100 hrs tweaking would not be exxagerating...then there's the countless hours just chilling out listening to it....
Man, I love this S$#t.....lol

Thank you. I used a pair of CDT HD-2BL's. I love them.
