I know you already started but, I'm not a fan of those MDF spacers. The inside of the door is not exactly dry. It gets wet and humid in there.

I know you already started but, I'm not a fan of those MDF spacers. The inside of the door is not exactly dry. It gets wet and humid in there. The MDF adsorbs a lot of moisture and break down with time.
I simply ripped the speaker part out of the original speaker. I kept the outside plastic part and mounted the new speaker to that. Just don't over tighten and you will be okay. It leaves a clean install and perfect fit. YzGyz |
