I'm sure you've already figured it out by now but for what it's worth, Gray/Red to pin 6 and Gray/Blue to pin 16 seems to be the answer. I can't be 100% sure because mine isn't working yet lol I can tell it recognizes my Headunit and wires but it just doesn't auto program |

Is that the main headunit harness with the factory speaker and power lines in this picture?

Now I must figure out how to add pins to my aftermarket harness to include those two. Zero cutting.

Crutchfield recommends using posi tap connectors to connect them to the original wiring.
I haven't started my install yet, but I've been researching it like crazy. Sent from my Moto X using Tapatalk |

There's a mute wire and an illumination wire my head doesn't use. I may relocate those for the SWC.

It would seem my email to Axxess did some good. There is now only one set of instructions for the 2012 base.
The gray/blue wire goes to pin 6, which is pink. The gray/red wire goes to pin 16, which is blue. Pin 15 (black) needs to be grounded. Since it would appear these wires aren't needed, I may rearrange them on the harness to make the ASWC-1 install more "cut/tap free."

But it is grey/red to blue and grey/blue to pink right?

For 2012 with Bose, this is what I found:
6 (W) 16 (GR) 15 (B) 2012 BASE: 6 (P) 16 (L) 15 (B)
