I do like the flashy blue but I'm afraid my system is going to be a little more stealthy.

Yeah the rear board splits down the middle with a box for the sub. the right rear coner has my tow hook while the left has a portable compressor and a bottle slime

Yeah but if I upgrade I am moving to a pair of 8 inch subs up by the brace bar and I might experiment with some type of rear filler speakers. I think the eight's would hit faster.

A little reshaping prior to glassing.
It looks like a rainbow puked in my spare. Being wax based clay, it should be a nice mold release. More importantly, my wife didn't freak out when she walked into the kitchen and saw a tire on her table.

Yep, the enclosure will pop out of the rim and disconnect from the amp.

Well so far as I approach 30K I have never had a flat tire. I have a pair of home polk 10s so I am familiar with the softer sounding tweeter. I am still studying position options for rear fill-in, but its not critical.

If you ever want to try something crazy for fiberglass, check out US composites and their 40oz cloth. Conforms to nearly any shape, wets out well for how thick it is, and you only need a few layers. Also, because you can lay down a sheet each layer, much less sanding afterwards. Now that I've tried it, I'll never go back. Sounds more expensive at first, but you'll probably save money in the end with less layers and resin

Turns out my plans for Monday have been canceled. I now have a free vacation day. I believe I'll take advantage of this cooler weather and finish up the install over my three day weekend.
