I'm wiring like a fool as we speak.

We have sound!
Now the months of tweaking can commence, but that's the relaxing part. The amp has its home. I even found a convenient spot for the bass level knob, which I don't really want anyway. I used a hole saw to cut a couple holes in the foam to pass the wires though. I glued in some copper pipes to trim it out, make it look better than just holes. I'm happy with the sound. Still a bunch of tweaking to do, but I'm calling it a success. That sub is droppin' LOW! My chief audio engineer evaluated the system and gave me his approval.

using test tones to set all frequencies equal before even touching the amp takes a while by itself.

Relaxing for the most part.....I can't even count the hours and hours spent sitting in cars in the garage tweaking. In the 4 years I've had the Z, considering speaker changes, amp changes, ect... I would say 100 hrs tweaking would not be exxagerating...then there's the countless hours just chilling out listening to it....
Man, I love this S$#t.....lol

Thank you. I used a pair of CDT HD-2BL's. I love them.
