AV Input Jacks
 

Hi,

My Z has the RCA inputs inside ... so I hooked up an xbox to see if it worked and it actually did.

So then I was wondering is it possible to somehow get a RCA to USB connectors, and have my phone stream videos directly to my nav.

So for example if I go to YouTube and watch a music video, can I get that to show up in the nav display using something like this:

Has anyone tried that before? I asked this question long ago but cant recall where that thread went. I know this will only work if your car is in park - but thought it might be worth the shot to try....

Or do I need to buy something else?

While the software in the nav system is definitely able to decode audio sources via the USB input, the real question is whether it also decodes video sources. My very uneducated guess is that it does not.
