Default 2015 Stereo install

Hi everyone, my first post but have been around for several months. The great info on this forum has played a big part in my decision to purchase a 2015 Z with the sport package. Awesome car!
Wanting to upgrade the sound system but have not heard of any installs on the 2015 model, my main concern is with the head unit wiring, I did read on here somewhere that the wiring harness is different, not real excited about cutting into the oem harness if the 2014 and earlier harness adapters by Metra or Scosche will not work. Any ideas or advise. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Ron, I was hoping you would chime in.

If Scosche has it available I sure can't find it on there site. I did send them an email inquiring about this but have not heard back. Hopefully they do have one
and there site is just not updated with the most current hardware. If they come back with a part number I will let everyone know. Wanting to install a
Pioneer 8100 & Hertz speakers, still trying to make a decision on which amp and sub to get.

I did the Pioneer 8100 and couldn't be happier.

After extensive looking, reading and listening...I decided to do a Phoenix Gold system... Clean tight sound...absolutely reeks of quality !

Im going to post pics of the install soon...Go to the website ! look at the Elite line ! ....Not for the cheap !

The Amp is 125x4+500x1 for the sub very powerful amp, small footprint.

The sub is a beast ! hits hard and tight for a ten inches....notice the rubber surround, she can throw about 40mm each way.

Thanks for the heads up on the Phoenix Gold products ... Good looking stuff, will definitely keep them in mind. No word from Scosche yet on the harness, I will give them a call tomorrow.

Yeah, I'd do a little more research and give them a call.

Well.....Looks like none of the major players have researched the 2015 install.
Called Scosche & Crutchfeild , neither have a harness available for the 2015 model.

I guess that I could go ahead and cut the harness and do the install that way
but think that I will be patient and wait for someone to build one so that I can hopefully achieve a clean & troublefree install.

May go ahead and install the door speakers . I know that the stock head unit will not be able to drive them nowhere close to there potential but it should sound some better shouldn't it ? Anyone have any other suggestions on a minor upgrade to hold me over ? Thanks.

yeah, I thought I found one at CARID. com, but when I changed the year from 2015 to 2013, it recommended the same harness.
