It would be nice if the Pi had more processing power and unfortunately they were able to get cost down on this by not offering a touchscreen. and for convenience in a car a touchscreen is a must. Otherwise you will have to worry about a toting a mouse and keyboard. Some people may do that anyway but I get the feeling most of us wouldn't want to use a mouse/keyboard to change the radio station or temp every time.
