As far as wiring goes, I'm assuming you all have seen these:
Mini Box 12v PSU That PSU, assuming 80% efficiency, would draw 13 amps...only slightly more than my nav deck, and they have bigger PSU's. All of their PSU's have three wire hookup, 12V constant, 12V switched or ignition, and ground; with a delayed remote turn on. Not difficult wiring at all, and assuming your whole stereo system is running off an amplifier you can either add a DAC with RCA outs or use 3.5 to RCA adapter to run to the amplifier. While I wouldn't buy one of their pre-built pc's, you can get better CPU's and Mobo's with the same power requirements and thermal dissapation needs, I would consider their PSU and their mini-itx cases. Speaking of thermal dissapation, what are the thoughts on computer placement? There is probably room behind the monitor, but the lack of air circulation and the proximity to the heater vents concerns me. Maybe mod the tilt out cubby behind the passenger seat? Testing will tell for certain, but I'm hoping there is a hardware guy lurking that could answer that...or someone that has done something similar in the past. Either way I love the way it looks and how it's going. |

Sorry guys with the weather and work here in DC I wasn't able to get this posted the other day. But I had the chance to get a sneak preview of the media interface earlier this week and thought I would share it with you all!

I cannot wait until you have a finished product
![]() You make me happy that I have resisted the urge for almost five years to tear apart the dash for HU install and/or cubby modification ![]()

This is gonna look amazing when done.
I agree tho that the top side is a bit to tall even to see the gauges but if you can (as you said) work your magic and lower that a bit it's look very very good. Also I see the lower side needs to cover the spaces a bit better. This makes me be thankful I haven't tried any crazy things to replace my navigation system and gives me hope I can have a good sound system with working Bluetooth and all (because I have an 09 and Bluetooth streaming is non existent). Amazing job tho, I'll follow you on Facebook, please keep us all updated. |

![]() Well with the snowpocalipse we had here in DC I took some time off and enjoyed the snow with the family. Made some Shock Top snowmen and had a blast! ![]() ![]() But last night I got back to it and started work on the body filling and correcting. It's taking some time but as anyone who has dealt with bondo knows it takes a while lol! ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
