Dash kit needed?

hi, just bought a 2015 Nismo with no navi and was wondering if I needed to purchase a dash kit if I was installing a Pioneer 7100NEX head unit? any info would help, Thanks!

Installed a double din JVC unit a few weeks back, original dash was used, although there's a small space it's too small for me to notice, looks great and didn't cost me anything extra. The kits that are available all got bad reviews, try the original.

thanks for the info! can I see a picture of yours? does it rattle or anything with the space? do you recommend a spacer?

I was thinking, is there a way of removing the stock HU and replace the storage cubby with the double DIN? I don't like the fact that is it so low. Would rather have storage lower than up top.

Also makes it easier to see audio/nav/etc with the aftermarket HU up top.
