Smile What is needed other than the components for an install?

First post to the forums with my new Z! That said, the only negative to the car that I've found is the horrible speakers since I don't have the Bose package (which I'm sure weren't too great in comparison to what else is out there either), but luckily that's a quick fix.

I've done a coaxial install before on my previous car which was a piece of cake, but haven't done a component install so I might pay to have it installed to save the hassle of figuring it out. I think I might get these components. Do those look like they will work? I'm keeping the base HU since I don't care much for HU features, just sound, and am guessing even with the base HU it'll still drastically improve the sound. Do I also need to purchase anything like spacers or wire of any sort?

Thanks!

they will fit in with no spacers required. If that's your only upgrade, I wouldn't bother changing any speaker wiring at this point.

Darn it, just realized Amazon labelled it wrong and put those coaxials under the Component Speakers section. I found two others that are actually components, do you know if either is better than the other, and if they would fit in the door or need any spacers or wiring? Thanks for the help!

given the choice, I would opt for the reference set.

Just warning you that you should be installing component speakers not coaxial sense you have a tweeter in your dash that will still be running alongside the tweeters in the speaker you bough.

Yeah I realized that those were actually coaxials even though they were in the Components section of Amazon, so I got the Infinitys I linked instead.

I'm partial to Infinity myself. Running Kappas in the Camaro. Love them.
