If your stereo is loud enough to garner a ticket, you're risking hearing damage inside the car. Hell, there are times I think my stereo is loud, but when I get out of the car I can barely hear it. I'm not sure how a radio noise violation or 'disturbing the peace' has anything to do with your driving record though.
