I am running 2 10" subs and it is more than enough bass for a very clean sound. That is the route I would go. A 12" sub is going

I am running 2 10" subs and it is more than enough bass for a very clean sound. That is the route I would go. A 12" sub is going to hit hard but depending on amp and box design may not be as clean as tight as the 10's
